Welcome to t-SPL

Introducing the Nanofrazor thermal scanning probe lithography (t-SPL) instrument with a hybid direct laser sublimation and grayscale patterning capability!

The Nanofrazor operates by using a highly focused thermal scanning probe to locally heat and etch surfaces with sub-micrometer precision.

This cutting-edge tool is perfect for high-resolution nanoscale patterning and modification of surfaces. With sub-micrometer precision, the Nanofrazor can create intricate patterns and structures, as well as modify material properties at the nanoscale. Potential applications include nanostructure creation for electronics, optics, and biotechnology, as well as the study of fundamental physical and chemical phenomena. Plus, the Nanofrazor is easy to use with a user-friendly interface and comprehensive documentation. Our team is available to provide training and support. Make the Nanofrazor a valuable addition to your research today!

Workshop/Events

  • Attended the 7th Thermal Probe Workshop (14th -16th March, 2023) organized by Heidelberg instruments and it was an amazing event! Learned so much from the presentations and discussions. Great to see so many experts and enthusiasts in the field coming together to share knowledge and ideas. Many thanks to Heidelberg instruments for putting this together and EPSRC for the funding.
